During a snowy afternoon in Montreal and a sunny one in Buenos Aires, Alejandro Paul and I caught up to talk a bit about him and his work.
While we kept this conversation casual, here are a few things that you should know about Alejandro Paul.
He is a type designer, typographer, calligraphy artist, teacher, and graphic designer from Argentina. He’s also a member of the prestigious AGI organization since 2011. His work was recognized multiple times and featured globally. He also spoke at numerous conferences in countries including France, Portugal, Turkey, South Korea, Japan, Spain, Germany, Chile, Brazil, Ecuador, Uruguay, Czech Rep, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Canada and the United States.
He’s the co-founder of Sudtipos, the first Argentinean foundry collective. You can see more of his work on his Behance Profile which he keeps up to date as well as his Instagram account.
(PS I apologize for the recording taking on my screen from time to time as a result of my sound being louder!)
This conversation was made possible by John Maeda who reached out to Alejandro Paul personally and created the A3 project.
